Taxi – Departing from London

Taking a taxi is another option to get you to the airport. It is not the cheapest option but it is reliable and will save you having to share the journey with others.

Train

The train is a service that will get you to the airport in good time. You will arrive right outside the terminal so it is just a short stroll in to the airport itself. The train lines run a regular service and are a pretty comfortable way to get to the airport.

Trains arrive right outside terminal and run every 15 minutes until late. The average journey time from Tottenham Hale to Stansted Airport is 35 minutes, and London Liverpool Street around 46 minutes.

Cambridge to Stansted Airport Options

Cambridge is an easy coach ride to Stansted Airport. They don’t run as often as the London coaches but they will get you direct to the airport. They are a good option if you don’t fancy driving.

Train

The train from Cambridge to Stansted Airport is not always direct and may mean a change at Bishops Stortford. The train is a quick option if you can get the direct 30 minute train and will take you right outside the terminal.

Trains arrive right outside at Stansted Airport and run twice an hour. Journey time is either 30 minutes or 1hr 6 minutes depending on number of stops.
